Brian Robert Reed, 18, of Harrison, died Sunday, May 24 (2009) at Harrison. Pallbearers were Patrick Reed, Jr., Aaron Looper, Trevor Shearer, James Ragland, Myles Hartman and Austin Tate.
The son of Patrick Lee Reed, Sr. and Elaine (Grewe) Reed was born Nov. 11, 1990, at Tracy, Calif. Brian was a member of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Harrison.
He was a 2009 graduate of Harrison High School. Brian was the biggest West Virginia fan to walk the face of the earth and a great Packer fan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Shirley Grewe, Jr. and his step-grandmother, Nancy Grewe.
He is survived by his father, Pat Reed of Harrison; his mother, Elaine Reed of Wheeling, W.Va.; his sister, Megan Reed of Harrison; his brother, Patrick Reed, Jr. of Harrison; and his grandparents, Malcolm and Virginia Reed of Harrison.Online condolences may be left at www.christesonfuneralhome.com.

She was born Vera Jeanette Cole Jan. 20, 1947 to Hughie B. & Rose Ann Aureli Cole at Pine Bluff, AR. Growing up as an Army brat , she traveled the world. In 1965, she joined the Air Force and served atWilford Hall Hospital, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX as an x-ray and radiation therapy technician. Upon her departure from the Air Force, she returned to Pine Bluff where she was employed at Jefferson Hospital.
Jeanette and Randy were married September 13, 1975 . They moved to Harrison in 1981 to enjoy the beautiful Ozark Mountains and raise their two daughters.
As an active member of Red Oak Baptist Church, Jeanette was involved in many ministries but loved singing specials and singing with the choir . She was a wonderful wife and a devoted mother and grandmother whose outward beauty was eclipsed only by her inward beauty. She lived her life serving others and was loved by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Secondo & Elvira Aureli & paternal grandparents, Clyde & Willie Cole. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, two daughters: Rhonda Sutterfield & husband Michael of Cabot ; Ashley Clanton Stanley & husband Dylan of Clarksville; two grandsons, Caleb Sutterfield & Elijah Clanton; her mother, Rose Cole, sister & Brother-in-law, Jane & Paul Mayhan, mother-in-law & father-in-law, Dorothy & Mack McCallister, all of Pine Bluff; a sister-in-law, Donna Harrison , 2 nieces , 2 nephews, several great nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles and many, many friends.
Jeanette was a brave & valiant warrior in her battle with ovarian cancer. Please take the time to read this article so you and those you know will be aware of this ‘silent killer’ before it takes control. Silent Killer....Ovarian Cancer Symptoms.
She leaves behind her two best friends, Baxter & Bailey, who will greatly miss her.
